CP44 – Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway

  • Questions to ask ourselves:
  • What are you afraid of?
  • And if you weren’t afraid what would you do?
  • Failure is just a judgement that humans place on a result.
  • Living in comparison – believe in self.
  • FEAR = False – Evidence – Appearing – Real
  • Let go of the outcome
  • Ask yourself the question – What would be the worst thing that would happen?
  • Bring out the monsters – really invite them to come into the room and have a conversation with them,
  • Negative thoughts – we aware of them, be careful what we say because it supports our unconscious mind,
  • We want to look good, therefore we say some stuff that doesn’t serve us in the long run – our EGO comes out to play. We need to get it out of the way.  (talk to it, acknowledge it – put it on the shelf for a period of time, park it and if need be come and pick it up later – remember when it doesn’t serve us simply pop it away.
  • Be the exposer to your fears – bring them out in the open and have that conversation,
  • Fear and Love cannot live together,
  • You can’t have a positive thought at the same time as a negative thought,
  • Find that quiet place/space and allow yourself to BE,
  • Say and know ‘This too shall pass’,
  • Ask yourself questions, What is this telling me?, How is this serving me? Tell yourself, This will be okay! – these are cognitive strategies,
  • Affirmations are very supportive – come up with your own. This is one of our favourite:  I TRUST LIFE.
