CP52 – What is Gratitude and can it give us happiness?

Simple acts of Gratitude don’t cost much however they can make a huge difference to our levels of optimism and well-being. Without gratitude we tend to focus only on what’s lacking in our life, rather than what we appreciate.  So if Gratitude is so beneficial to our happiness and health then why isn’t everyone doing it?  The Coaches discuss how to live a life of Gratitude, the benefits of the ‘glass half full’ thinking and share their own stories of how to nurture and practice it.

CP52 – What is Gratitude and can it give us happiness?

Activity: Practice being Grateful by doing one or both of the following:-

  • Every morning or every evening (or both) – be thankful for 3 things that happened today that we are grateful for (saying them out loud or in front of the mirror is very powerful).
  • Write a gratitude journal – start by listing 3-5 things you are grateful for each day – this will start allowing good things to flow more easily.

Listed below are suggested links we mentioned today to support our practice of ‘Gratitude’.
